How A Martian Bottle Works

martianheadbig

Many people have asked me how to properly use the Martian Beard Oil bottles.  I have made some quick videos to show the incorrect ways I have seen most often as well as the correct way to apply your oil.

wrong1

Slamming – INCORRECT

The most common incorrect way people try to get the oil out is by slamming the bottle on their palm.  The orifice reducer in the bottle is made to release a drop when air comes into the bottle so slamming it down does not allow it to do that.

wrong2

Shaking – INCORRECT

The second way I have seen my fellow martians try to get their oil is by violently shaking the bottle.  This is the same concept as the first incorrect way; it does not properly allow air into the bottle to supply the drop.

correct

Turn Upside Down and Hold – CORRECT

Finally, the correct way to receive the perfect drop each time out of your Martian Beard Oil bottle is to simply turn it upside down and a wait a few seconds for the air bubble to go through the bottle and release a drop.  The bottles are designed to give you one drop every 1-2 seconds and when allowing the air to pass through it effectively does this.

We use this method for two reasons.

  1. Other methods such as a droplet with a rubber top can erode from the essential oils and get into your oil.  The orifice reducer allows your oil to stay as pure as possible.
  2. Since you do not want to apply too little or too much oil on your beard, allowing us to give a measurement in drops ensures you will apply the perfect amount to your beard without it drying up too quickly or getting too greasy.

We recommend 5-6 drops for most beards.  If you have a more massive beard than most apply 1-2 drops more and if you are just getting yours going apply 1-2 less.  This will ensure your beard stays healthy and clean.

Thanks and remember, We Are Not The Same.
